Project Overview

Background & Purpose:

The purpose of this workshop grant is to catalyze a network of scholars interested in working at the intersection of learning sciences and policy on problems of implementation. The grant is bringing together scholars from different disciplines, district leaders, and funders to develop hubs of expertise related to design-based implementation research (Penuel et al., 2011).

Setting:

The workshop took place in June 2011 in San Francisco, CA.
